DTF print or embroidery?

For T-shirts, DTF print is usually the best choice: it stays soft and stretchy and reproduces fine lettering, gradients and photos cleanly on the fabric – even as a large design up to 30 cm wide. A print up to 10 cm costs CHF 5.50 per piece, or CHF 3.65 from 100 pieces with the quantity discount.

Embroidery looks more upmarket and suits heavier T-shirts, for example as corporate wear. On very thin jersey it is best kept small so that the fabric does not pucker.

Where the logo goes

The classic is a left chest logo about 8 cm wide (14 cm at most). For more impact, choose a large front design up to 30 cm or a back design of about 26 cm – ideal for team names, sponsors or your website. There is also the neck (6 cm) and, on most styles, the sleeves (7 cm).
