In landscaping, the weather often changes several times a day. The layering principle has proved its worth: a T-shirt or polo shirt, a fleece or softshell jacket on top, and in persistent rain a rain jacket with welded seams and matching rain trousers. Some rain and winter jackets meet EN 343, the standard for protective clothing against rain. A bodywarmer keeps your core warm and leaves your arms free – handy for pruning, planting and raking.

In summer, T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts and polo shirts with UV protection from Blåkläder shield you from the sun, one model even with a hood. They go well with shorts, 3/4-length trousers and bucket hats, and in winter with beanies and lined jackets.

Trousers and shoes for beds, lawns and dry-stone walls

Blåkläder’s gardening line is made for this work: pockets for secateurs, trowel and folding rule, reinforcements in CORDURA® – as work trousers, as shorts and in a women’s cut. If you prefer stretch craftsman’s trousers, you will find many more models from Blåkläder, ProJob and Herock, several dozen of them in shades of green and olive.

Many work trousers have knee-pad pockets; you can order the matching knee pads at the same time. Waterproof safety shoes and winter boots as well as work gloves, including waterproof or lined ones, come without a logo in the same order.

By the roadside, in the park, in the forest

Anyone mowing embankments, planting roundabouts or pruning trees along the road needs hi-vis clothing to EN ISO 20471. Our range includes several hundred hi-vis items in classes 1, 2 and 3: vests, T-shirts and polo shirts (some with UV protection), softshell and rain jackets, and trousers. Our hi-vis guide helps you choose the class; when decorating, the reflective strips stay free.

For forestry and tree care we carry chainsaw protective trousers from Blåkläder: class 1 cut protection over the whole front, and class 2 high visibility at the same time. We do not offer other chainsaw protective clothing such as jackets or boots. Whether and where these protective trousers get a logo, we clarify with you before you order.

The logo: large on the back, small on the chest

In a park or private garden, your team is often in view for hours. A clearly legible company name on the back of the jacket works like a sign there, and a small logo on the chest is enough. In the configurator you see both straight away in the live preview and can rotate the logo if needed.

On softshells, fleeces, polo shirts and trousers, embroidery is the most durable choice, and digitising your logo is free. An embroidered 9 × 4 cm chest logo costs, per position and piece, CHF 9.90 for one item, CHF 9.40 from 10 and CHF 7.90 from 100 items. The same logo at the same size is counted across all items.

Large back designs and T-shirts are best printed using the DTF process: CHF 5.50 for designs up to 10 cm, CHF 9.50 up to 30 cm; with the quantity discount the price drops to as low as CHF 3.65 per piece.

Plan for the season start and apprentices

In spring seasonal staff join, in August the new apprentices. Share our size list in the team chat: everyone enters their own size. The proof arrives within 72 hours, and production only starts with your approval. From then on, allow 7–10 working days for decorated goods, 2–4 working days without a logo.
