Painter’s trousers: white, tough, full of pockets
For painters and plasterers we carry around 30 painter’s models from Blåkläder: painter’s trousers, shorts and 3/4-length pirate trousers, plus bib-and-brace trousers and a sleeveless overall. They are white, usually with black or dark grey contrasts. On the cotton models, the fabric absorbs paint splashes before they reach the skin; the bib-and-brace trousers are made of two layers of cotton twill for this.
The pockets are typical: depending on the model, a scraper pocket reinforced with Cordura, brush and nail pockets and knee-pad pockets – Blåkläder knee pads are also available in the shop. If you spend a lot of time on ladders and scaffolding, choose a model with 2-way or 4-way stretch; for hot days there are shorts and pirate trousers. White work trousers are also available from ProJob and Herock.
For women painters, cold days and good visibility
Several painter’s trousers, shorts and pirate trousers come in a women’s cut. For pregnancy we carry maternity painter’s trousers made of soft 4-way stretch, with legs that zip off above the knee. Besides regular sizes, many painter’s trousers also come in short and long sizes.
For the cold season there is a white and grey painter’s jacket with fibre pile in the collar; a zip in the lining lets us embroider the logo cleanly. White T-shirts, polo shirts and sweatshirts from Blåkläder and ProJob, white softshell jackets and the white cotton painter’s cap go with it. If you need to be seen, there are painter’s trousers in white and hi-vis yellow with class 1 high visibility – their reflective details stay free when decorated.
A logo that stands out on white
On white fabric, a light logo quickly gets lost. Choose strong or dark thread and print colours, or use the dark version of your logo. In the live preview you see straight away how it looks on the item, and you can rotate it if needed.
On painter’s trousers and bib-and-brace trousers, the logo sits on the left or right thigh or on the back pocket. Jackets, sweatshirts and T-shirts carry it on the chest and large on the back – easy to read when the team is working on the scaffolding. The painter’s cap can be decorated on the front, side and back, and on request we also embroider polo shirts on the collar.
Embroidery or DTF print?
Painter’s clothing is washed often. Embroidery copes with that, stands out clearly on white and looks premium; digitising your logo is free. For a 9 × 4 cm logo you pay, per position, CHF 9.90 for one piece, CHF 9.40 from 10 and CHF 7.90 from 100 pieces. The same logo at the same size is counted together across trousers, jackets and shirts.
For lettering with a phone number on the back or a colourful design on a T-shirt, DTF printing is the right choice: CHF 5.50 up to 10 cm, CHF 9.50 up to 30 cm, from 10 pieces with a quantity discount down to CHF 3.65 per piece.
