Lining, padding or down?
Lined work jackets keep you warm with an inner lining, for example made of fibre pile, and are robust enough for the building site. Padded and quilted jackets are filled with synthetic fibres, often recycled polyester; they still keep you warm when damp. Down jackets, for example from Craft and Tenson, are lighter for the same warmth, and some pack down small; some Tenson models have RDS-certified down.
For cold, wet days there are waterproof, lined jackets and parkas, for example from Blåkläder, ProJob and Result. You will find winter jackets to EN ISO 20471 in the hi-vis category – there, the logo leaves the reflective strips free. Parka, pilot jacket, softshell or 3-in-1?
A parka reaches below the hips and keeps you warm when you stand for long periods – directing traffic, at a market stall, in the works depot. The shorter pilot jacket does not get in the way when climbing and bending. Lined or padded softshell jackets, for example from ProJob and Clique, give freedom of movement and keep out the wind.
Almost twenty 3-in-1 jackets, from ProJob, Result, Regatta, Pen Duick and Cutter & Buck among others, consist of an outer jacket, usually waterproof, and a removable inner part – a fleece jacket, softshell or quilted vest. In autumn you wear the inner part on its own, in winter both. In the configurator you decorate the outer jacket; if you want the logo on the inner part too, request a quote.
They go well with padded or down bodywarmers, for example from Result, Craft, Regatta and Tee Jays, beanies with an embroidered logo and lined winter trousers from Blåkläder and ProJob.
The logo on the winter jacket
On the chest, a logo about 8 cm wide works well, left or right; the back offers space for up to 30 cm, plus the sleeve. You set position, size and rotation in the configurator and see them in the live preview.
On winter jackets, embroidery is the most robust choice, and digitising is free: a 9 × 4 cm logo costs CHF 9.90 for 1 piece, CHF 9.40 from 10 and CHF 7.90 from 100 pieces, per position. On some lined jackets and bodywarmers, for example from Result, Regatta and Pen Duick, the manufacturer has provided an opening in the lining: that way only the outer fabric is embroidered.
On quilted and down jackets, the quilting seams determine where and how large the logo can be; some models, such as the quilted, warmly lined jacket from Blåkläder, have smooth areas for this. We clarify this with the proof. DTF printing (CHF 5.50 up to 10 cm, with a quantity discount down to CHF 3.65) suits colourful logos and large back designs.
Order before the first cold days
With logo it takes 7–10 working days from your approval of the proof, which you receive within 72 hours; without logo 2–4 working days. So order your winter kit before it gets cold, and remember the jumper underneath when choosing the size. You collect the team’s sizes with our size list, which everyone fills in themselves.
For embroidery, the same logo at the same size is counted across all items: 8 winter jackets and 8 bodywarmers with the same chest logo count as 16 pieces. Can a down or quilted jacket be embroidered?
Yes. Where and how large the logo can be depends on the quilting seams; some models have smooth areas for this. We advise you with the proof, and production only starts after your approval.
What is a 3-in-1 jacket?
An outer jacket with a removable inner part, worn separately or together – hence three options. We carry almost twenty models, including women’s cuts and a hi-vis parka.
Are there winter jackets in women’s cuts and for children?
Yes, many models come in a women’s cut, for example from Blåkläder, Tenson, Craft and Stormtech. Children’s sizes are available from Blåkläder, Craft and Result, among others.
When should I order winter jackets with a logo?
In autumn, before the cold sets in: with logo we deliver 7–10 working days after your approval. You can order from a single piece; quantity discounts apply from 10 pieces for embroidery (large logos from 50) and from 10 pieces for DTF printing.
